Position: Vehicle Installation Electrician
Salary: 42,500 Per Annum
Location: Bicester
Hours: Mon-Thurs, (phone number removed)pm
Reports To: Production Line Manager
Purpose of Post:
Proactive are currently in search of multiple skilled Vehicle Installation Electricians to start work immediately in Bicester. You will be responsible for the installation and testing of chassis and body electrical control systems in accordance with customer specifications, ensuring the necessary quality standards are maintained and adhered to.
Key Tasks:
1. Responsible for compliance with the company's health and safety policy and procedures, ensuring workshop policies are adhered to.
2. Ensure that work carried out is to the agreed quality standard and that all quality sign-offs and procedures are complied with.
3. Responsible for ensuring that the vehicle electrical control system is installed to the specification requirements as detailed by the relevant documentation.
4. Responsible for the installation and modification of vehicle wiring harnesses and components as detailed in the contract build documentation.
5. Responsible for the termination of various automotive and high voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
6. Responsible for the testing and commissioning of the vehicle electrical system as per Quality Assurance documentation.
7. Responsible for fault finding and repair of the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software.
8. Ensure the installation is completed in accordance with the allocated process time.
9. Must be prepared to work overtime when requested by management.
10. Undertake any training or retraining associated with the post, or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes, including the training of others.
