Job Title: Deputy Project Manager
Salary: From £60,000 + depending on skills and experience plus bonus scheme
What you’ll be doing:
* Driving project success, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Managing resources effectively, optimising resource allocation and addressing operational challenges to ensure smooth project execution
* Ensuring compliance, adhering to all relevant procedures and best practices for effective project management
* Managing LCM responsibilities, phase reviews and approvals, ensuring alignment with guidelines, selecting review chairs and assessors, maintaining up-to-date documentation, and incorporating lessons learned
Your skills and experiences:
* Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
* Demonstrates a proven ability to analyse and resolve complex project-related challenges, using established procedures and innovative solutions
* Exhibits a strong understanding of the business environment and commercial practices relevant to project delivery
* Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, using diplomacy and persuasion to achieve project goals
* Ability to make sound decisions based on available information, policies, and procedures, seeking guidance from senior management when needed
* Actively seeks opportunities to enhance project performance and contribute to the overall success of the organisation
* University level education or professional qualifications gained through industry
* Professional PM Qualification (APM or PMI as examples) or years of practical experience gained through application of Project Management
* LCM Assessor is desirable
