Role: SEN TeacherLocation: AylesburyContract Type: Full-TimeSalary: £29,344 - £44,919Start Date: September 2025We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team at a school located in Aylesbury. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse abilities. As a SEN Teacher, you will collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to provide personalised and effective learning experiences for students with special educational needs.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student, ensuring that educational goals are attainable and measurableDeliver lessons using a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroomCollaborate closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environmentRegularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to address individual needsMaintain transparent communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and collaborating on strategies for continued support at homePromote an inclusive classroom environment that encourages understanding, acceptance, and positive social interactions among students with and without special needsStay informed about current trends and best practises in special education, attending relevant workshops and conferences to enhance professional knowledge and skillsImplement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and respectful classroom environment, providing support to students with challenging behavioursRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Teaching certification in Special EducationProven experience working with students with special educational needsStrong understanding of various learning disabilities and developmental disordersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you would like to know more, please contact Supply Desk at 01296 752 499 and apply below .We are offering a £100 referral fee for any successful referrals of friends/colleagues who work 5+ shifts!Supply Desk is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
