Role Overview:
We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join OVO as a qualified Smart Energy Engineer. You’ll be working at customers' homes delivering a service we can be proud of and helping us achieve our mission of driving progress towards net zero carbon living.
Your key outcomes will be:
* Deliver the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
* Engage with customers on the benefits of smart meters.
* Develop with support from mentors and your Manager.
* Ensure you have the right materials stocked in your van and communicate proactively with customers.
* Adapt working methods to install smart metering systems safely.
* Collaborate with peers and colleagues to meet customer needs.
* Take ownership of your work and continuously refresh your knowledge and skills.
* Carry out risk assessments to ensure safety.
Minimum Requirements:
* Hold a CCN1/CMA1 & MET1 or Level 2 Smart Meter Diploma.
* Minimum 6 months experience as a Smart Energy Engineer / Dual Fuel Meter installer.
* Current full manual driving license (with up to 6 points).
* Strong desire to learn and adapt to new ways of working.
* Demonstrate key behaviours that align with our OVO values.
* Comfortable talking to and helping customers in their homes.
* Great at multitasking and managing your time.
