As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness across all areas of the hotel, as well as providing excellent customer service. What will I be doing?
As a Housekeeper at The Devon Hotel, you are responsible for cleaning guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and all public areas to a high standard. You will communicate with other departments and work effectively within a team or on your own while achieving departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in all hotel bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
2. Thoroughly report any maintenance issues.
3. Provide friendly and professional customer service when dealing with customers.
4. Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any concerns.
5. Understand and comply with company policy on HASAWA, fire precautions, and legal requirements, and perform any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
6. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
7. Ensure the correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
