The starting salary for this role is £45,680 per annum based on working 36 hours per week. This role is offered as a fixed term contract until the end of October 2025 with the possibility of extension. About the Role The Freedom to Travel Programme is an ambitious and interesting cross directorate programme which aims to change how the council and partners plan, commission and deliver travel and transport services to residents in the medium to long term. This programme will enable a range of options so that Surrey residents who need our support can make the right journeys, in the right way, at the right time. The work will span a number of directorates within the Council including Home to School Transport, Adults and Childrens Social Care, Environment and Transport, Greener Futures and IT. The Business Analyst will be supporting a significant organisational cultural and system change programme which includes new ways of working and technology to deliver value to residents. The Business Analyst will operate across the organisation to build good relationships that help facilitate an understanding of requirements.We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has excellent analytical and data management skills and who engages enthusiastically with stakeholders. You will have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small and enthusiastic team to deliver this innovative change programme. You will bring a breadth of experience and enthusiasm to this role. Shortlisting Criteria To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:
