We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well-organised and ambitious Family Liaison Officer to join the staff at Bedwas High as soon as possible.
We are looking for an experienced individual who will provide a family support link which will serve the needs of children experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties, either in school or at home and whose education is at risk due to poor attendance. The role will involve working with children, young people and their families across Key stage 3 & 4.
It is essential that the ideal candidate will have:
- relevant experience and qualifications in a related area working with children and families e.g. Health, Social Care, Family Support, Youth Work, Psychology, Education.
- A current driving license and access to a car on a daily basis (expenses will be payable)
- Evidence of continuous professional development and a willingness to undertake further training.
This contract is offered on a fixed term basis to start as soon as possible in the autumn term running through to 31/5/25. This post is subject to grant funding and any continuance will be determined by available funding.
