Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office, 2 days per week for this position.

We’re looking for an Infrastructure Architecture Lead to join our Insurance Money and Services team.
It’s an exciting time to join us. Leading a small team of highly skilled Infrastructure Architects you will have a key role in the creation of our new technology platforms and services.
What you’ll be doing
1. Enterprise Infrastructure Modernization: Drive advances in technologies and architectures to increase the value delivered by technology and digital capabilities, either through improvements to the efficiency of technology environment or through those that reduce the total cost of technology operations.
2. Improvement / Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing business practices, then suggest and implement improvements while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organization's change management program. Involves working with guidance from senior colleagues.
3. Operational Compliance: Monitor and review performance and behaviours within area of responsibility to identify and resolve non-compliance with the organization's policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
4. Enterprise Architecture: Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to create/manage architecture roadmaps and strategies that align to business requirements.
5. Leadership and Direction: Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
We need you to have
1. Experience of leading architecture teams in a highly regulated environment
2. Experience of working with large transformation programmes, delivering significant levels of technical change
3. Broad and deep knowledge of technology infrastructure
4. Good knowledge of IT security
5. Good knowledge of architecture frameworks
And if you have any of these, even better
1. Awareness of agile concepts and experience of supporting agile deliveries
