About the Role: As a Residential Support Worker (RSW), you’ll play a crucial role in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people. You’ll work closely with them to develop life skills, build resilience, and promote emotional well-being while ensuring their safety, care, and development. Key Responsibilities: Day-to-Day Care & Support: Provide emotional and practical support to children in a residential setting. Promote independent living skills, education, and personal development. Encourage and facilitate positive social activities and experiences. Safeguarding & Well-being: Ensure the safety and welfare of young people at all times. Implement care plans and positive behaviour support strategies. Work in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures. Teamwork & Development: Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers, and external agencies. Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and career progression. Support the home’s ethos of providing a nurturing and child-focused environment.
