Specialist Physiotherapist Cardiac Rehab

The post holder will be based at North Manchester General and will be part of a supportive team with an interest in service development and teaching.
The successful candidate will support the Cardiac Rehabilitation service and work closely with the MDT in the assessment of patients and supporting the classes. There are opportunities to experience running rehabilitation groups, as well as seeing patients in a clinic environment.
Main duties of the job
* Delivery of evidence-based physiotherapy management of cardiac patients
* Supervision of less experienced staff, such as rehab assistants
* Clinical mentorship of student physiotherapists
* Service development projects, such as audit and quality improvement

* Graduate Diploma/ BSc / Pre-Registration MSc in Physiotherapy
* HCPC Registered
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
* Membership of relevant S.I.G.'s
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
* Clinical Educator Course
Experience
* Previous post graduate clinical experience
* Extensive clinical experience on a broad rotational post / previous Cardiac rehab experience
* Knowledge of the working of community services
* Involvement with audit and research
* Membership of department/Trust groups e.g. Health and Safety
* Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Supervision and education of less experienced staff, students or assistants
