What you’ll own
1. The Client Risk Relations Analyst II is responsible for managing client interactions related to regulatory compliance, due diligence, and risk management.
2. This role plays a critical part in ensuring clients meet regulatory obligations while working closely with stakeholders across various platforms.
3. The manager will oversee client audits, regulatory requests, and client communications, particularly during significant incidents.
4. The position requires expertise in enterprise risk management, audit processes, and effective communication with both clients and internal teams.
Document Management & Portal Maintenance:
1. Maintain and update regulatory documents (e.g., SOC reports, SSAE16 resilience statements) in the client portal.
2. Ensure all client-required documentation is up to date and accessible via the portal, coordinating approvals from stakeholders.
3. Track documents sent to clients and maintain a comprehensive database for accurate record keeping using tools such as ServiceNow.
Client Audits:
1. Manage onsite and virtual client audits, coordinating with internal stakeholders and managing logistical aspects (e.g., scheduling, food and beverage).
2. Facilitate audit evidence preparation and address follow-up questions from clients.
3. Support clients during audits, ensuring all their queries are answered and required documentation is provided.
Client Regulatory Requests:
1. Manage regulatory requests for clients who do not have audit rights, responding to high volumes of inquiries through the Client Risk Relations inbox.
2. Ensure timely and accurate responses to client requests for due diligence documents, coordinating with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
ServiceNow & Client Portal Management:
1. Support the build and functionality of the ServiceNow component for Client Risk Relations.
2. Ensure both the temporary and long-term client portals meet the needs of clients for requesting regulatory documentation.
3. Assist Senior Director with client communications and tracking during significant incidents that affect service.
4. Assist Senior Director with presentations to clients on operational resilience efforts.
Risk Reporting & Regulatory Evidence:
1. Provide clients with regulatory evidence to demonstrate compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Stay current with regulatory changes and ensure that all documentation is aligned with the latest standards.
Client Meetings and Conferences:
1. Assist in planning and executing client-facing events such as Risk InDepth conferences and advisory committee meetings, ensuring content and logistics align with client needs.
2. Facilitate the testing of monetization opportunities through event engagement (e.g., crisis management exercises).
Facilitation & Communication:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for clients on regulatory risk-related matters.
2. Assist in development and execution of a communications plan to keep internal stakeholders informed.
3. Publish clear and concise reports and updates on the client risk program.
What you bring:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of five years of experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, or audit roles.
3. Strong understanding of enterprise risk management and regulatory requirements in the financial technology or payments industry.
4. Proven experience in managing external client audits and facilitating multi-stakeholder meetings.
5. Familiarity with regulatory documents such as SOC reports, SSAE16s, and other industry-relevant compliance materials.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
7. Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
8. Experience using risk management software, client portals, and tools such as Archer and ServiceNow.
