Job Title: Hone Operator
Division: IODS Pipeclad
Hours of Work: Full-time: 37.5 hours on shifts (some flexibility required)

Job Purpose: To support the management in the day to day running of the facility. Manage the Hone and cutting areas directly. Assist in other areas when necessary.
Outline of Role and Responsibilities
• Ensure the Hone and cutting equipment are ran safely and efficiently
• Ensure general housekeeping and safety of the facility is kept to a high standard
• Coordinate the receiving and dispatch of materials from the facility, ensuring all procedures are followed
• Update Progress system (ERP) with the relevant production information as required
• Ensure the production being carried out is to the production schedule/work to list
• Assist in HSE activities as required
• Assist in the coordination of labour and materials for the facility
• Assist in any continuous improvement plans that are implemented.
• Maintain the Quality standards required and report deviations in quality as required by our procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
A successful candidate shall need to be able to demonstrate that they have the skills and experience to be:

• Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work under pressure, working accurately and with attention to detail

• Good technical knowledge with the ability to learn new process
Education and Experience:
• Working in an engineering environment, welding and grinding.
• Basic PC skills.
• Ability to handle production and material movement paperwork
• Forklift/counterbalance license.
• Lifting and slinging.
