About Louma Louma Farm & Retreat is a 100-acre farm nestled in West Dorset, offering a peaceful, wellness-focused getaway. The Role Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Attendant will be part of a small team responsible for the cleanliness of the whole site. This will include regular guest room changeovers, cleaning of public areas, following cleaning rotas and procedures, replenishing wellness products in rooms and spa, pool and hot tub cleaning, maintaining cleanliness in outlying barns and spaces and displaying a friendly and helpful demeaner to all guests and other staff. Usage of a wide range of cleaning equipment and products. We are looking for passionate, dedicated, and detail orientated individuals to help create a serene environment where guests can reconnect with nature and themselves. Key Responsibilities Excellent attention to detail and adherence to established cleaning procedures and schedules Usage of correct chemicals, materials, equipment and methods as per set procedures for specific areas and items. Be aware of COSHH and MSDS for use of chemicals as per recommendations / SOPs, and ensure storage and transport / use around site is controlled at all times. (Training will be provided.) Ensure all areas are clean, tidy and presentable to a high standard at all times Collect rubbish, refuse, waste and deposit in designated areas and reciprocals, as scheduled Collect used linen and replace where required with clean. Follow established linen procedures. Launder items in-house as required Support other Departments as required in the movement of items and set-up of areas. Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by your Line Manager Be presentable, cheerful and polite always, wearing appropriate uniform Always demonstrate good personal hygiene, wearing appropriate clean and laundered uniform. Flexibility to undertake weekend and evening work to satisfy role responsibilities Focused, proactive, enthusiastic and work with own initiative or as part of a team. Demonstrating respect and able to maintain good working relationships. Must have own transport to get to work. There is no public transport to the site. Present yourself to reflect the Louma Farm and Retreat ethos in terms of appearance, character and interaction with Guests, Team members, Partners of Louma and Third Parties.
