* JOB TITLE: Security Operator
* SALARY: A Full Time Equivalent of £28,073
* LOCATION(S): Edinburgh
* HOURS: Part-time – 17.5 hours a week (Wednesday to Friday)
* WORKING PATTERN: This is an office based role due to regulation requirements.

The Physical Security Operations Centre provides 24/7 support to colleagues across the Group. As a team member you’ll provide physical security support over the telephone, online and through alarm monitoring. You’ll work collaboratively across our team and the group to deliver the right outcome for our colleagues.
This role is based in our Physical Security Operations Centre where you’ll be responsible for a diverse range of activities including alarm monitoring, working to and providing advice on security procedures, remotely fixing faults on security equipment or getting an engineer out to fix the problem. Communication is key as you’ll be speaking to colleagues, suppliers and the emergency services when responding to security incidents.
Day to day you’ll be,
* Delivering outstanding customer experiences through various communication channels.
* Multi-tasking between telephony and queue-based work.
* Alarm monitoring and responding to security incidents
* Problem-solving and paying excellent attention to the details.
* Pro-active in your approach to personal development and learning.
Coaching and mentoring will be available, along with the opportunity to get involved in cross team activity and learning and development. We're keen to hire someone with the right values and behaviours.
