The Guildhall School of Music and Drama invites applications for the position of Senior Professor of Collaborative Piano. This part-time, permanent role (14 hours per week/0.4 FTE) offers a pro-rata salary range of £46,050 to £51,530, including London Weighting, dependent on experience and performance.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative pianist with a distinguished record as both a performer/coach and educator. Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing the Postgraduate Accompaniment Course.
2. Leading collaborative vocal and piano performance activities.
3. Spearheading student recruitment for the collaborative piano discipline.
The role demands active engagement in attracting diverse and exceptional students to the Guildhall School, acting as an ambassador for the Keyboard Department, and developing relationships within the music sector both nationally and internationally.
