Smile Education is proud to be working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Staffordshire, supporting their search for a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to work with vulnerable children in Years 4 to 6. About the Role: Full-time teaching position in an alternative provision, working with children who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. You will deliver the primary curriculum to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils, ensuring engaging and supportive lessons tailored to individual needs. Requires a flexible, adaptive, and confident teaching approach to effectively support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. You will be joining an all-age provision, so the ability to adapt to a diverse learning environment is essential.What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Recent experience teaching within an SEMH, Alternative Provision (AP), PRU, or Special Education setting is highly desirable. A resilient and reliable teacher who is confident in their practice and can work immediately.
