We are currently looking to recruit a Quality Executive who ideally will have 4 plus years’ experience, but we would consider a competent newly qualified quality expert. Where will you be based? This role can be based from either our Durham, Darlington, Gosforth or Penrith, but we would expect you to travel and work from other offices from time to time. How many hours will you be working? This is a full-time or part-time role, and we will consider job share. Full-time is 35 hours per week, however at EMG Solicitor we work flexibly, it’s not a 9 to 5 role, but we do expect the work to be done, when you do it can be largely up to yourself, your Team Leader and the requirements of the firm. A brief overview of the role: This role works within the quality, risk and compliance team. We actively support one another and place a great deal of emphasis on teamwork. In this role you will manage and be accountable for your own deliverables aligned to strategy as part of the QRC team. Exemplary client service. We take the view we stand and fall as a team - you will need to work both on your own and as part of a team. About the Role Getting paid for the work you do. The Quality Executive will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and management of firm's quality management standards and certifications, including Lexcel, CQS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, B-Corp, the Legal Aid contract and Lender portals. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining standard operating procedures, process maps, document control, audit plans and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work with the management team and heads of department to identify key processes and developed standard operating procedures, maintaining an effective framework for training, evaluation, KPI tracking and continuous improvement. To be able to perform this job you will need As far as qualifications go you should either be a qualified quality or audit professional or actively working towards this qualification, ideally with four plus years post qualification experience. You will need to be an excellent communicator, with specific change management skills in order to coach the management team in how to implement improvements to enhance processes and roll out effective, standardised communication with the wider firm You will need strong analytical skills to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement With strong problem solving skills to facilitate discussions about the changes required. Your attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, processes and compliance and thoroughness in audits and inspections must be a strong and demonstratable skill. Effective time management and organisational skills are required to work under your own initiative and to be proactive when working to tight deadlines.
