Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Sale, Manchester (Office-based)
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 dependent on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45am to 17:30
About the Role
We are delighted to be representing a rapidly growing property business in Sale, Manchester, seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take on a key role within a successful property organisation that specialises in the Build to Rent market and has a thriving Estate Agency division.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of financial reporting and account management, and the ability to lead and develop a small team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of client accounts and ensuring all financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and review financial reports for client accounts
2. Analyse large datasets and investigate variances
3. Perform account reconciliations across various platforms
4. Maintain strong relationships with contractors and act as their main point of contact
5. Supervise, mentor, and support the finance team
6. Lead client account audits and ensure compliance
7. Continuously review and improve financial processes and procedures
8. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information
9. Provide support to the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as needed

The successful candidate will be:
1. A proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic finance professional
2. Strong in leadership, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
3. Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
4. Highly proficient in IT and Excel
5. Experienced in preparing financial reports, account reconciliations, and audits
6. Capable of identifying process improvements and implementing change
