Job Summary:
We are seeking to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, working closely with the design, project management, and procurement teams. The Estimator will play a critical role in ensuring project budgets are well-planned and competitive, aligning with client requirements and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain competitive pricing and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and tender submissions.
Evaluate and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure best value.
Collaborate with the design and project management teams to optimize project budgets without compromising quality.
Identify potential risks and provide cost-effective solutions to mitigate them.
Assist in value engineering and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Keep up-to-date with market trends, material costs, and industry standards.
Support the business development team with budget estimates for proposals and bids.
Ensure all estimates comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the interior fit-out, construction, or related industry.
Strong knowledge of materials, subcontractor pricing, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation and communication skills for supplier and client interactions.
Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
