Scope of the role FFE is seeking a hands-on Finance Business Partner who has proven experience in working alongside different departments, providing financial information and commercial insights to various stakeholders. Own and run the key monthly finance forecasting processes for Sales, R&D project spend, Cost of Goods, and Overheads. Lead the annual budgeting and strategic financial planning exercises with Executive Board members and the Senior Leadership Team. Monitor and manage working capital to help ensure efficiency while balancing the need for flexibility, in particular, partner with Operations to continually optimise inventory balances. Continually review commercial performance and feedback insights to leadership, commercial, operational and sales colleagues on a regular basis to help inform decision-making. Partner with our Data Analysts to create dashboards and other analytical tools that deliver real-time information to drive high-quality reporting and analytics. Provide input to improving FFE’s data architecture. Be an advocate for data integrity across the organization. Present insights and recommendations in formal formats (e.g. written reports and presentations). Perform financial analysis on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. evaluating opportunities and risks) Contribute to the continuous improvement of key business processes and controls, being a champion for positive change. Help digitise ways of working between Finance and the wider organisation. Together with the finance team, participate in the critical path for month close activities ensuring compliance to reporting standards and group deadlines. Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc projects that supports own personal development. Skills & Experience A recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA). While a graduate degree would be preferred, it is not necessary. Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with a critical thinking mindset. Ability to see the bigger picture and understand business-wide implications. Experience with metrics-driven financial planning and analysis. Minimum of 3 years of business partnering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Proven business partnering skills that emphasize driving collaboration, upholding financial rigor and establishing best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to engage credibly at all levels, and to effectively present findings and recommendations. An ability to explain financial concepts clearly and deliver actionable financial insights to non-finance colleagues.
