Aufgaben
1. Understand the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies and Processes and the statutory requirements as they affect theoperations and ensure that the requirements are implemented
2. Provide operational andfunctional management advice on the practical implementation of the company’sH&S policies and processes including external stakeholders such ascustomers if necessary
3. Assist, where needed, withthe development of Health and Safety Management plans if applicable andcoordination of review
4. Provide operational andfunctional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, incidents,and ill health
5. Assist the HSW Manager andother members of the HSW team, in key tasks to assist in the development,management, implementation and monitoring of the Health and Safety ManagementSystem
6. Undertake and/ or assist HSW Manager and/or Contract Management in establishing, managing, and maintaining relationshipswith external stakeholders such as local authorities, HSW and others asrequired and directed
7. Assist the HSW Managerand other members of the HSW team, in key tasks to assist in the development,management, implementation and monitoring of the Health and Safety ManagementSystem
8. Provide advice, guidanceand independence with regards to the assessment of and appointment ofsub-contractors
9. Assist with and undertakeHSW surveillance where required of operational sites. Participate, as requested in parent Company HSW audits
10. When directed, assist, if necessary,with the preparation of HSW risk assessments and safe systems of work
11. Assist with the monitoring,analysis of and reporting of HSW performance. Utilise data to highlightareas of further consideration, evaluation, and intervention
12. Assist and/or manage theinvestigation of accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences, near misses andother incidents as directed
13. Assist in the preparationand implementation of HSW training/ briefings, as directed
14. Promote best practice,capture best practice and ensure it is fed-back into the business and parentcompanies
15. Set standards and lead byexample in the management of HSW
16. Liaise with the othermembers of the HSW Team and the wider organisation with regards to HSW
17. Maintain own level ofknowledge and competency in relations to HSW Management andresponsibilities including appropriate qualifications and professionalmembership
Qualifikationen
18. At least three years’ experience in relevant field of Construction / Infrastructure Health & Safety
19. Membership of IOSH - Tech IOSH
20. Collaborative behaviours
21. NEBOSHConstruction Certificate
22. Safety, Health and Environmental Diploma, Degree or equivalent NCRQ or NVQ
23. Membership of IOSH - Grad IOSH
