Assistant Buyer
Westcoast Purchasing provides innovative solutions to a growing number of customers across the UK and Europe. Our Purchasing team is essential for the efficient planning and profiling with effective communication with key departments within Westcoast to ensure that we deliver the best possible customer outcome.
What is the role?
Working with a dedicated set of buyers and product managers, you will take an internal customer-focused approach to managing stock profiles from a set portfolio, ensuring maximum fulfilment at minimal operational and financial costs. You will be an individual who takes an analytical and methodical approach, ideally with strong purchasing experience.
How will you do this?
* Accuracy and prevention of queries through consistent and accurate data processing, e.g., processing of purchase orders.
* Processing of purchase requisitions from Hardware or Accessories Product Managers, producing purchase orders for placement with relevant suppliers.
* Some build specifications will need to be ratified against online build specs and current documents. In addition, some Microsoft orders will need to be hand keyed onto MS own website.
* To maintain expected delivery dates and prevent overdue delivery dates.
* To continually improve and develop working methods.
* Actively recommend new processes and procedures showing continuous improvement.

* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop strong business relationships.
* Ability to cope under pressure and react to fast-changing situations.
* Able to work within tight guidelines and conform to strict SLAs.
* Excellent attention to detail.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
