We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Onley, a category C Prison located in Rugby.
Hours:
The site currently offers two days per week, Tuesday and Thursdays (negotiable) 09:00-17:00.
This position is part-time; you'll receive an annual salary up to £61,110 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Deliver face-to-face services, enabling patients to obtain health information from the appropriate healthcare professional. You will be providing safe and effective health assessments and treatment of patients within the establishment.
* Be accountable for your practice including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients, independent of medical intervention.
* Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team in providing quality, evidence-based health care to meet the immediate needs of the patient, taking an active role within the cross-disciplinary, multi-skilled team to ensure service quality in line with corporate goals and strategy; assisting in the implementation of the wellbeing approach which has a positive impact on the health economy.

Minimum Requirements
* Registered professional with current registration (NMC).
* Recognised prescribing qualification.
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
* Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
* Ability to work within a busy environment.
* Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
