Location: Preston Manor As a Supervisor Production, you will s upervise, optimize and continuously improve the production activities in the site together with other disciplines, taking into account the local regulations, rules, the permits, the predetermined cost budget according to the specifications as determined with the Sales department. Responsibilities: Supervise the production activities in the site and ensure the activities are performed in a safe and healthy way. Ensure the production team, both own employees and subcontractors, perform their activities considering safety and healthy as the highest priority. Motivate people to report unsafe/unhealthy behaviour/issues. Ensure exploitation according to the rules as set in the permits and develop a yearly workplan to be approved by the local authorities. Control the activities are performed within the predefined budget and alert the sales team on time when problems arise. Supervise the production activities on the site according to the principles of operational excellence. Ensure activities are performed according to the production schedule. Work with the production scheduler. Align with production scheduler and if needed with production manager/operations manager when problems arise and/or the production schedule cannot be met. Strive to the optimal balance between customer demands and specifications in relation to quality, quantity, efficiency and cost. About you: A degree in relevant or related discipline is an advantage Prior experience in similar role and/or in similar industry English – proficient in verbal & writing. Local language of the country of base and main operations – proficient verbal & writing. Other languages are an asset.
