Job: Highways Project Manager
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £60,000-£68,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Highways Project Manager looking for your next challenge? My client provides civil engineering solutions across the Northern England region, and has an opportunity based in Middlesbrough for a Project Manager to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing highways and infrastructure projects, including Section 278 (S278) works.
2. Managing all phases of construction projects from initial planning through to completion.
3. Leading site teams and liaising with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.
4. Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
5. Implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in highways and S278 works.
2. Demonstrable experience in project management.
3. Strong leadership and management skills to drive project success.
4. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
6. TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) certification would be beneficial but not essential.
