About the Role:
As a Functional Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support for our Functional Skills programmes, ensuring accurate data management within our MIS system for all Army Apprenticeship contracts. This position also includes completing a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship as part of your professional development. You will be enrolled as Business Administration Level 3, which will help you develop your skills and knowledge and can take up to 18 Months to complete.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collate and input Functional Skills exam data into the MIS system.
2. Register apprentices on the BKSB e-learning platform.
3. Issue BKSB login information to apprentices, monitor the completion of Initial and Diagnostic assessments, and send reminders when required.
4. Set up and maintain Functional Skills folders on the e-portfolio system for apprentices.
5. Upload and map completed Initial and Diagnostic Assessments on the e-portfolio system.
6. Manage Awarding Organisation registration and certification processes for Functional Skills provision, adhering to strict timelines.
7. Process Speaking and Listening claims with the relevant Awarding Organisation.
8. Monitor and record Functional Skills results and disseminate to relevant Pearson TQ staff and stakeholders.
9. Download Functional Skills Confirmation Reports from Edexcel Online and share with the Functional Skills Tutor.
10. Monitor and record full Functional Skills completions and disseminate to relevant Pearson TQ staff and stakeholders.
11. Monitor and update the Functional Skills tracker to ensure all required information is complete and accurate.
12. Schedule Functional Skills examinations and manage/organise invigilators and exam rooms where required.
13. Notify Pearson Reception when apprentices are visiting Pearson UK offices for Functional Skills delivery or exams.
14. Support with Functional Skills invigilation when required.
15. Liaise with relevant stakeholders and individuals and establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the client and staff communities.
16. Support the Functional Skills Manager/Senior Functional Skills Manager in developing and coordinating the quality assurance systems and processes across the Functional Skills qualifications from both an Awarding Organisation and company perspective.
17. Support the Functional Skills Manager/Senior Functional Skills Manager in Awarding Organisation communications and in coordinating the internal and external verification and standardisation processes.
18. Implement company policies and practices in respect of teaching, learning and student support.
19. Attend and contribute to team and other operational meetings, as required, and disseminate information.
