Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
As a Financial Guide, you will work closely with high-value customers to understand and meet their complex financial needs. Through in-depth conversations and reviews, you will help identify opportunities and provide guidance across various products, including investments, mortgages, insurance, lending, family finances, and retirement planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess clients' financial goals and objectives by collecting information about their income, expenses, debts, savings, and investment goals.
* Provide relevant information and guidance on budgeting, saving, debt management, investments, mortgages, and insurance coverage.
* Explain complex financial concepts and product features in a clear and concise manner, empowering clients to make informed decisions about their finances.
* Recommend suitable banking products, such as banking and savings accounts, credit cards, loans, mortgages, and investment products, based on clients' individual needs and financial goals.
* Stay up-to-date with new banking products, regulations, and market trends to offer clients the most relevant and current guidance.
* Manage client relationships, respond to dissatisfaction, and maintain regular communication to provide ongoing support.
* Review and adjust clients' financial plans as needed to adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Customer service and relationship management experience, dealing with external customers and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to build relationships with colleagues, peers, and senior colleagues.
* Expertise in using IT systems and associated applications.
* Problem-solving skills to find solutions for customers in distress or with complaints.
* Telephony experience.
Desirable Skills:
* Understanding of providing investment information related to MIFID II and ability to work towards gaining accreditation within the role.
* Experience working in retail banking or relationship management roles.
* Experience working in a virtual environment.
* Business-to-business experience.
