Job Advert: NMR Scientist Location: North West About Us: A leading CRO in the north west which contributes to the development of advanced therapeutics is looking for a skilled NMR scientist to join their team and lead analytical development for the testing of a wide variety of pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical samples. Position Overview: The ideal NMR scientist will have a strong background in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, with a focus on NMR troubleshooting, method development, and validation. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery on client projects and is a great way to work with some huge names on the pharmaceutical space. Key Responsibilities: NMR Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex issues related to NMR instrumentation and data interpretation to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Method Development: Design, optimize, and validate NMR methods tailored for the analysis of small molecules, biologics, and complex formulations. Validation Experience: Conduct method validation in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) regulations, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including chemists and biologists, to support project goals and timelines. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of experimental procedures, results, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Bsc or Msc degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. Proven experience in NMR spectroscopy, particularly in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical setting. Strong understanding of GMP/GLP regulations and their application in laboratory practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
