The Role
As an Associate Director of Planning, you will play a key leadership role in the York office, contributing to the growth and success of the team. You will be responsible for managing a variety of planning projects, building strong client relationships, and leading a team of planners to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage planning projects across multiple sectors, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
* Provide expert planning advice and guidance to clients and colleagues.
* Contribute to business development, identifying new opportunities and driving growth.
* Mentor and support junior planners within the team.
* About You:
* A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
* Chartered Membership of the RTPI (or working towards it).
* Extensive experience in town planning, with a strong understanding of the UK planning system.
* Proven ability to manage projects and lead teams effectively.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional planning solutions.
