Are you a Construction Bid Writer with a knack for spotting golden opportunities that others miss? Join our vibrant team at the UK Head Office where you'll be the mastermind behind crucial BID submissions!
You'll be the super connector, working closely with our dynamic Lead Tender Manager, sharp Estimation Manager, and the innovative Global Head of Pre-construction. All these amazing folks are based at our buzzing Head Office near Uxbridge.
To make sure your commute is a breeze, we're looking for someone who's based nearby. Flexibility is key - you'll be ready to jet off whenever business needs call or clients dream big.
For a HIGHLY profitable business, they pride themselves on a relatively flat management structure. One ingredient of success is the turnaround time and ability to manage risk internally before making decisions.
If you have an idea or strategy, this will be embraced. They are rewarding you to make decisions, be it right or wrong. Yes, they want to win every bid, but at present, they have a very healthy 61% WIN ratio, mainly due to the prequalification and time committed. They would prefer to pull out of a bid than make up numbers and be a rebound strategy for a client.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for writing tender submissions, tweaking and adjusting as you see fit for success.
2. Able to get into the program, methodology, price and coordinate the artwork.
3. You will pull together and strike the right balance of strategy and brief for content and technical.
4. You know how to win a case study and brief.
5. You will have the people skills and communicate to clients face throughout the process.
6. Managing a team of writers in a hands-on approach to upskill and lead from the front.
Working across all work sectors and locations, your role will be focused on improving consistency, innovation, and creativity across our work winning teams, ensuring we deliver the best possible outcomes.
Skills Needed for this role:
1. Ability to take rough draft information and develop it into a submission.
2. High level knowledge of PowerPoint & presentation / IT tools.
3. Capable of managing several deadlines and fluctuating workload.
4. Able to perform under pressure.
Qualifications:
1. Clear track record working for Global Construction Organisations handling Bids & Bid writing.
2. Ideally Degree Level Qualification but client is open-minded for the right person.
