We are seeking someone to work within the Bristol area as an SEN Teaching Assistant. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have a degree, experience, or knowledge of Special Needs. This role is suitable for someone who has worked in care, wishes to pursue a career in Psychology or educational psychology, speech and language, or has a genuine interest in working within Special Educational Needs.
SEN Teaching Assistants Experience, Training, and Qualifications
1. Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs
2. Knowledge of Autism, Speech, and Language Needs
3. Strong command of English
4. Experience within health care is desirable
5. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (this training can be offered by Prospero)
To be eligible for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:
1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child-related references
