Teacher of Maths - North Leicestershire Start date: April 2025 (post-Easter) End date: July 2025 Full-time and long-term position Teaching Maths at KS3 & KS4 Hays are working in partnership with an 11-16 Secondary School in Coalville in North Leicestershire. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher. This is a part-time role from January 2025 to the end of the academic year. For this role, you will be experienced at teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and 4, including at GCSE. Due to this being a long-term contract, full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking, will be required. Job Description Delivering engaging and creative Maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback. Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum. Participating in extracurricular activities such as Maths/STEM clubs and school trips. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECTs are welcome to apply. Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary school level. Strong behaviour/classroom management.
