Job summary
We are recruiting for an Associate Practitioner who wishes to join the Access to Intervention Team on the Isle of Wight. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care.
The team operates 7 days a week between 08:00 - 20:00 and promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working responding to mental health crisis calls, offering a face-to-face response in a timely manner that is required to meet the needs of the service user and their identified risk. We will offer a period of 72hrs assessment, brief intervention in various formats if identified, and signposting to appropriate services.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
This role is focused on supporting people with mental health needs and their carers (friends/relatives/carers) and their supporters in the community enabling and assisting them to meet daily health and wellbeing needs, in line with personal recovery goals.
The post holder will contribute to the ongoing assessment, planning delivery and review of activities and interventions against identified health and wellbeing needs, acting as care/recovery coordinator for an allocated group of service users, in accordance with the agreed personal care and recovery plan.

Education to degree level in a health-related subject
Good written and spoken English
Experience of working within a team environment
Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Experience of working with people with mental health issues and vulnerable service users
