The role involves providing a front line clerical service to clinical staff within the ward, ensuring an appropriate standard of support is delivered in a timely manner. You will provide a meet and greet service to visitors, patients and staff. A key responsibility for the post holder is to ensure the timely and accurate inputting of data is captured for all admissions, transfers and discharges of patients. You will be responsible for booking appointments for patients and beds for speciality teams.Additional duties will include stock ordering, supporting the nursing team and bed management team.
