Priority Candidates will be considered in the first instance Wigan Town Hall Library Street Wigan WN1 1YN Salary: Grade 8, 35,235 - 39,513 per annum. 37 hours per week Your role: You will be joining a supportive team of auditors who deliver a planned programme of internal audit reviews and responsive advice to all council services. In your role you will be supported by your audit manager, who will allocate your reviews and provide ongoing supervision and assistance. We will offer you learning opportunities to further your development. About you: You will have an accountancy or audit qualification or be actively studying towards this. You will have relevant financial experience, with proven organisational management skills and be familiar with Internal Audit working practices and quality standards. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to use your own initiative to think laterally and creatively to propose practical solutions to any audit issues identified.
