Responsibilities Develop and execute enterprise-wide network and web application security validation programs. Create and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Python and PowerShell. Implement regulatory systems aligned with IT and industry security standards. Regularly evaluate the performance and utilization of network and web security tools to ensure optimal effectiveness and validation. Define technical and functional requirements to configure, deploy, and validate network and web security tooling. Design, architect, and enhance the security technology stack, processes, procedures, and support models while ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration. Drive the adoption of network security tools and practices across the enterprise. Collaborate with the Security Operations team to respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents. Develop and present metrics for network security coverage and create actionable remediation plans. Maintain strong vendor partnerships to ensure continuous support for network security tooling. Establish procedures to validate the design, deployment, and management of security controls to uphold confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Deploy and manage global network security infrastructure, including firewalls, DDoS mitigation systems, VPNs, IPS/IDS systems, egress filtering, cryptography solutions, and application security tools. Ensure the high availability and security of global networks, adhering to SLA commitments and participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation as required. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Extensive experience with one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) for automation, tool development, and system integration. Proficient in using source code management tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket for version control and collaboration. Strong familiarity with scripting APIs for network devices, using libraries like Paramiko or Netmiko to automate network management tasks. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge and remain current on new developments in cybersecurity capabilities and industry knowledge. Experience with compliance assessments such as NIST, PCI, SOX, and ISO. Solid knowledge in routing and switching technologies and protocols TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VTP, VRF, STP, VLAN, vPC, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, QoS, GRE, IP SEC, DNS, TACACS, NTP, SDN, SD-WAN etc. Diagnose and resolve issues in scripts or programs efficiently, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or industry equivalent work experience in cybersecurity, international security architecture, and/or engineering. Develop and customize security tools for tasks like vulnerability scanning, log aggregation, and monitoring. Relevant certifications in information security, such as CISSP, SSCP, CAP, CCSP, CISM, or CSX-P, or applicable equivalent experience. Certifications in networking and security, including CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, AWS Networking, or Cloud Security certifications, are highly desirable. Experience with securing data across SaaS and IaaS platforms (e.g., AWS, Cloud Platform), ensuring data protection and compliance. Knowledge of securing data across a variety of database technologies, including MySQL, Redis, and Hive, with a focus on data integrity and confidentiality. Ability to handle ambiguity and work effectively in a collaborative, global team environment. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with both business executives and technical teams to align security objectives with organizational goals.
