You will be in a split position across the audit and business services department. You will be involved with all audit work from start to finish as well as preparing financial statements ready for audit. When not on site with clients, you will be supporting the wider business services department with the provision of accounting services to a mixed client base.

This firm of chartered accountants has recently opened another office in the region, they are therefore looking to consolidate their client service through the addition of a new hire into the team. This new office came because of prolonged growth over the past 5 years as they continue to win work from competitors.
Description
* Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing an analytical review
* Leading smaller audits, supervising, delegating, and reviewing work of trainees
* Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge
* Identifying cross selling opportunities
* Monitoring stock takes, managing bank letter processes and completing AFF (Assignment Feedback Forms) where appropriate
* Communicating to management on the progress of workload and planning for efficient completion
Profile
You will have 5+ years of practice experience and will be either ACA or ACCA qualified. Prior experience in audit is desirable but this can be trained, you must be a good communicator and be able to work accurately and professionally under pressure.
