More about the role Working within the Intelligence team at NaVCIS, the successful candidate will work as a member of the NaVCIS analyst team in researching and producing performance data for the senior management team. P rovide an intelligence research function supporting motor finance fraud, plant and agricultural theft, freight crime and caravan security business areas within the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service. More about Us The National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS) is a national police unit, hosted by Hampshire Constabulary but based near Coventry. We work closely with partner agencies across law enforcement and the private sector in order to better understand and mitigate the threats posed by vehicle theft. Motor finance fraud and associated offences impacts upon victims and communities, the national economy and demands placed upon law enforcement agencies. Through effective partnership working NaVCIS seeks to prevent offences of motor finance fraud by our subject matter experts investigating, developing and sharing specialist intelligence to support law enforcement investigations to prevent crime and disrupt organised criminality. Essential Experience Proven experience of working in a professional environment and updating multiple computerised systems with speed and accuracy. To be computer/ keyboard literate and a competent keyboard user. Experience in handling quantitative and qualitative data. Proven experience of working with minimal supervision. Ability to interpret information and to produce and deliver meaningful analysis.
