You'll be a role model and mentor and you'll play a key part in supporting our young people. The role can be tough and challenging but it's always incredibly rewarding.
We are looking for people with a passion for working with young people who have excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not essential as we are able to offer the training and support required.
You will join a team of experienced professionals and attend regular training sessions to ensure you have up to date knowledge to enable you to provide the highest quality of care. You will support the young people within the home environment and classroom, teaching life skills like cooking, cleaning and giving academic support.
You will also be involved in the regular planning of activities to suit the interests of the young people you care for e.g. gaming, local walks and playing football. We expect all staff to be proactive and forward planning in this area to ensure the young people have access to a wide range of hobbies.
