The role is with an award-winning architecture practice with a well-established reputation for quality architecture, master planning, and interior design, built on extensive experience across workplace, lifestyle, and leisure sectors. With studios in central London and North of UK, the practice takes pride in delivering sustainable, inspiring environments, often working alongside renowned artists and interior designers to push creative boundaries with bold, bespoke design solutions—while championing the importance of public art.
The Role
As a Technical Architect, you’ll play a crucial role in the technical delivery of high-profile hotel projects. Your expertise in Revit, construction detailing, and system design analysis will ensure that design concepts are seamlessly translated into technically sound, buildable solutions. Key responsibilities include:
* Technical Expertise: Apply advanced technical knowledge and Revit skills to develop precise construction drawings and specifications.
* System Analysis & Problem-Solving: Identify, analyse, and resolve design and system weaknesses to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
* Coordination & Compliance: Work closely with consultants and contractors to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth project delivery.
* Collaboration: Engage with architects, interior designers, and specialists to align technical execution with the creative vision.
* Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Present technical solutions to clients, contractors, and project teams, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
Candidates Requirements
* 3+ years PQE as a Technical Architect, ideally within the hotels or hospitality sector.
* Strong proficiency in Revit, with experience producing technical drawings and coordinating design development.
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve system weaknesses in design and construction.
* Sound knowledge of UK building regulations and best practices in construction detailing.
* Effective communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
