A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a senior and highly experienced Nurse to work within the RDaSH Nursing and Facilities Directorate, providing clear, visible professional leadership and management to the nursing workforce, ensuring that appropriate national and local strategic developments are implemented.

Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will lead key elements of the Patient Safety Agenda across the organisation, ensuring that effective arrangements are in place for incident reporting, monitoring, and learning lessons. This will include leading the development of an improved patient safety culture within the organisation, placing emphasis on an open and transparent system with a focus on continuous improvement and clinical risk management.
Responsibilities include horizon scanning all national and international evidence relating to clinical governance and utilising it where appropriate, as well as ensuring robust systems and processes are in place for ongoing registration with the CQC and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Lead the ongoing review, development, and implementation of the Trust's Quality Improvement Strategy. Support the development of a strategy that promotes a culture of ownership and accountability while encouraging innovation and staff empowerment.
Ensure rigorous systems and processes are in place to deliver on the Clinical Governance Agenda, playing a lead role in the development of clinical practice and ongoing assurance of high standards of clinical quality, safety, and experience across the organisation.
