Muller Yogurts & Desserts are on the lookout for a Production Planner to join their Repack team at Market Drayton site on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The preferred candidate should possess experience in developing daily and weekly production schedules while evaluating sales volumes, inventory levels, and production capabilities. Familiarity with SAP, conducting investigations into stock discrepancies, and assuming responsibility for key performance indicators and objectives is also essential. Job Title: Repack Planner (12-Month Fixed Term Contract) Location: Market Drayton Depot, Repack Department Working hours – Monday – Friday (40hours per week) Role & Responsibilities: • Develop daily and weekly production plans for the Repack Department. • Assess sales volumes, inventory levels, and production capacity to initiate the planning process. • Attend Ice Room meetings and take ownership of KPIs and objectives. • Communicate with Manufacturing leaders throughout the day on all production aspects. • Conduct SAP user testing for future IT updates. • Maintain adequate stock levels to buffer demand uncertainty while minimizing stock and avoiding finished goods low code and write-offs. • Manage external rework plans and arrange movement between departments. • Interface with all production personnel, including Managers, Team Leaders, and Engineering. • Investigate stock discrepancies and provide feedback on findings. • Update all planning systems and reports. • Ensure general housekeeping standards are maintained. Key Skills & Experience: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, FMS, WMS, and Siemens Opcenter (Preactor) • Previous experience in a planning role is beneficial. • Knowledge of dairy manufacturing, including Müller products and resources, is advantageous. • Ability to work and make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced production environment. • Strong numeracy skills and a methodical, calm approach. • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with the ability to retain information and work flexibly as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving abilities. • Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively.
