We are delighted to be working with our Scottish Law Firm client, to recruit an experienced Wealth Administrator, on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to join their team based in Glasgow.
You should have a strong understanding of compliance requirements, proven experience and knowledge of the investment process, and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including financial plans, recommendations, and investment details
* Ensuring all client documentation and processes adhere to relevant financial regulations and industry standards
* Supporting the onboarding of new clients and processing new business requests, such as opening accounts and setting up investments
* Managing investment accounts, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate record-keeping
* Responding to client inquiries, providing updates on their accounts, and assisting with general administrative tasks
* Assisting with the preparation of financial plans and reports, and providing support for ongoing client reviews
* Conducting research on investment products and providers, and analysing client portfolios to identify potential investment opportunities
* Assisting with the underwriting process for new business, including gathering information and preparing applications
* Executing trades as instructed by financial advisors, ensuring accurate and timely execution
1. What you'll need:
* Previous experience of being in a Financial Planning Wealth Administrative role
* Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the investment process and sound analytical skills
* A good working knowledge of compliance requirements
* The ability to draft investment administration correspondence
* Be working towards or having already achieved a recognised administrative qualification
* Excellent organisational, time management, and record-keeping abilities
* Understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, financial advisors, and other stakeholders
