Join our Hygiene team as a Hygiene Operative at our Arla flagship Aylesbury Dairy site and you will contribute to maintaining the high hygiene standards across non-operational areas.

Job Purpose:
As a Hygiene Operative, you will be part of a high-performance team both delivering and supporting other functions to meet challenging department, team, and personal goals. The role will be to support a team, optimize resources, and coordinate activities to ensure cleaning targets are met, which in turn contributes to ensuring site goals are achieved.
This role is required to work in a shift pattern covering weekends every 7 weeks and bank holidays. No night shift is required with an average of 37.8 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
* Work to high standards to achieve departmental targets in Quality, Efficiency, Waste, and cost reduction.
* Actively contribute and seek continuous improvements to achieve departmental targets.
* Maintain strict food hygiene and health and safety standards.
* Ensure full completion of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning targets.
* Ensure departmental procedures are followed and records are maintained.
* Contribute to the team reporting and decision-making process.
* Actively promote communication links and good working relationships with colleagues.
* Maintain high standards of work ethics in respect to lateness and absences.
* Carry out any other duties commensurate with the role.
* Able to work independently and challenge different areas of the business.
* Maintain cleaning equipment.
* Record confirmation of tasks completed.
* Ensure enough stock for your area(s).
