Job summary
Consideration may be given for a developmental band 6 to 7 post for the right candidate, who would be expected to undertake relevant training within 12 months of starting in post.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Dietitian to work in the Hull and East Riding CAMHS Community Eating Disorders Team.
Please be aware that some elements of this role are in development and review, of which the successful candidate will be involved in.
Whilst the role will be to provide specialist dietetic assessment and support to young people with an eating disorder, we are looking to develop a small dietetic team to provide this support across CAMHS.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide nutrition and dietetic assessment and intervention to young people receiving support from the team. This is for young people in the community and those admitted to the Paediatric wards at Hull Royal infirmary for management of their eating disorder. You will be HCPC registered, have experience of working with children or have experience of working with adults who have eating disorders.
You will be an integral member of the busy, close working MDT and support the delivery of the Family Based Treatment approach. You will be based with the team, joining meetings, offering consultation to the team, and with paediatric staff as required.
