Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer (Contract)
Location: Remote
Reports to: CTO

With over 20 years of experience partnering with Tier 1 & Tier 2 financial institutions, we have deep expertise in regulatory compliance, data security, and fintech innovation. Our flagship solutions are designed to accelerate Open Data adoption, drive new revenue streams, and enhance customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for API, application, and data validation testing.
2. Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
3. Collaborate with customers to evidence conformance testing of the integration touchpoints as part of customer onboarding.
4. Develop and maintain performance, security, and regression tests.
5. Assist with test data generation and data manipulation for complex test scenarios.
6. Conduct manual testing when necessary to validate edge cases and exploratory testing scenarios.
7. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and open banking standards for quality assurance.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with business and technical objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role in a technology-driven environment, ideally within open banking or broader financial services.
2. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Virtuoso or similar.
3. Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and API validation techniques.
4. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
5. Experience in writing test cases, executing test plans, and debugging complex systems.
6. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and best practices.
7. Ability to analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and collaborate with development teams.
8. Experience with performance and security testing methodologies.
