The Maintenance craftsperson will be part of the multi-skilled team within the Estates Department. The post holder will assist in providing day-to-day joinery repairs and maintenance associated with the upkeep of the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust Estate and its external client’s premises. To carry out maintenance, inspection, non-routine minor works or alteration, routine and non-routine repairs, fault finding and problem solving, and also carry out new work as required, based around the skillset of a time served joiner.
We are looking to recruit a self motivated, I.T. literate craftsperson with excellent Joinery and building knowledge to join the estates team. The post holder will be responsible for fault finding / repairs on a wide range of building services equipment. The day to day duties will include planned preventative maintenance, general repairs, North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions is a wholly owned company, entirely owned by the Trust.

Job Purpose
1. To take specific responsibility for carrying out certain core duties as detailed by Team Leaders, to include but not limited to doors and associated hardware and building fabric repairs within skillset.
