About the Role: We're on the hunt for an Inspector to ensure the highest standards of safety in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations. Your mission? Survey a range of engineering tooling, lifting equipment, cranes, pressure vessels, and motorized plant. Your expertise will guarantee compliance with the latest regulations and immediate action for non-compliant assets. As a crucial part of the team, you'll craft comprehensive reports and build strong, professional relationships with our customers across multiple sites.
Main Duties Include:
1. Meticulously inspect equipment, identifying LOLER & PUWER non-compliance and generating comprehensive reports via our user-friendly online system.
2. Provide support at various airports and sites across the UK.
3. Collaborate closely with our Operations Team, ensuring job acceptance, understanding, smooth implementation, and efficient closure.
4. Manage your daily workload effectively, guaranteeing on-time delivery of tasks.
5. Regularly update the business on work progress and potential risks.
6. Conduct most services on-site, using our fully equipped service vehicle.
What We Are Looking for in Our Candidates:
1. Confident communicator with a deep understanding of H&S Requirements, LOLER & PUWER 98 regulations.
2. Demonstrable experience in a similar role and environment.
3. Self-motivated, whether working independently or as part of a high-performing team.
4. Exceptional customer service skills.
5. A keen understanding of risk and its commercial implications.
6. Ability to connect with people at all levels.
Additional Information:
1. Based out of Heathrow - Company provides van and fuel; you would just fund your commute to and from work.
2. Will be working at various airports around the M25 - Heathrow, Gatwick, Farnborough, Biggin Hill, Stanstead.
3. Travel between sites may be required occasionally.
4. A full clean driving licence (manual gearbox) is a must.
5. You must have the right to work in the UK.
6. Obtaining an airport pass is necessary, requiring a clean personal record and the ability to provide work/educational history going back up to 5 years, with references.
