We are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our academy, to support pupils with SEND and to ensure that every child succeeds. The contracts on offer are full time (32.5 hours per week) and permanent, and we require the successful candidates to commence employment as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities:
* Work with either individuals or small groups of pupils in or outside the classroom ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
* Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
* Assist with the implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour plans and Personal Care programs under the supervision and guidance of teaching staff.
* Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs.
Pay range:
NJC Scale Point Range 5-7 £19,151.63 - £19,765.04 per annum (Full Time Equivalent £24,790 - £25,584)
Qualifications and Skills:
* TA2 Qualification or equivalent.
* Maths & English GCSE Grades A-C (or equivalent).
* Relevant experience in a similar role.
* Ability to build good relations with pupils, parents and staff.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
