Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Salary: £28,000 - 32,000
Location: Bristol, BS5
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7.00am - 4pm Mon-Thurs, 7.00am - 1pm Friday

Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform mechanical fixing and assembly of equipment according to technical specifications.
2. Utilize various hand and power tools efficiently and safely to assemble and fix component assemblies.
3. Follow engineering and technical drawings.
4. Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
5. Troubleshoot to identify and resolve mechanical or basic electrical wiring and connections issues during the assembly process.
6. Communicate with the engineering team and colleagues to ensure efficient workflow to meet production targets.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a hands-on role within a production or manufacturing environment and proficiency with hand and power tools.
2. Previous production assembly build and fitting experience, either bench work or workshop floor.
3. Either time served or with NVQ or City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in Mechanical or production related engineering.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
5. Basic wiring or assembling to attach controllers or panels to equipment.
6. Good communication skills to work closely with the production team and ensure safety compliance adhering to all health and safety regulations.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
